I find it interesting that the poll doesn't include the option of keeping the scoring as it's been in the past. hmmm....
Also, I hope the changes in scoring don't stop the FC organizers from doing the clinic or even the Friendly Century
as a whole. I think it would be a real shame to lose the event.
Hmm. I took a look though the rules on this site and I cannot find anywhere where it says wisport points are given to all wisport catagories. Unless someone from wisport did that ride and received points from the previous year it would not be evident as to what to expect.
Regardless of the outcome of this or any other survey........it needs to be addressed PRIOR to season. Once season has begun, follow the rules as they have been. This creates less animosity, and strengthens the organization. Changes made during the season, unless absolutely necessary, weakens the leadership.
I think it would be interesting to see the breakdown amongst voters as to whether they do the century ride or not.
