DAR’S MIDWEST Time Trial Championships Festival of the Wheel
May 5th 2012 Willard WI
Where:
· Directions: Willard is 8 miles west of Greenwood on county HWY G.
Course:
· 1 each 16 mile loop ( Road Bikes, mountain bikes, tandems, and recumbents )
· 1 each 7 mile out and back ( wheel chair, roller blades, and others )
· Roads are lightly traveled blacktop, five corner loop for 16 mile course, corners are swept, monitored and the course will be sagged.
Entry Fees:
· Registration: $20.00 individual, $15.00 family (three or more) 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Willard Athletic Club. 12:00 PM start beginning with road, mountain, tandems, wheel chairs, roller blades, and anything on human power wheels. Helmets required for all racers.
· THIS IS AN OPEN AND WISPORT POINTS EVENT. $1.00 per entry goes directly to the CHILDREN’S MIRACLE NETWORK, and a donation is made to the DAR VOLLRATH MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND.
Awards:
· Awards to the fastest male and female in the 16 mile time trial. Middle of the pack award. Must be present to win.
· Medals 1st- 3rd for each category (road bike, mountain bike, recumbent, wheel chair, roller blades and others) road bikes will be a combined category with 1st-3rd place medals given using WiSport age categories.
