• It’s 10 miles of time trial, enticing with a sweet downhill quickly followed by a few wicked climbs. The L’Alpe Bl’Huez takes place in the shadows of Blue Mound State Park. Unglaciated, beautiful scenery coupled with significant climbing opportunities lure the best of us to this neck of the woods. The course gets you started with a rolling warm up to Barneveld, then a zippy downhill. And the fun begins as you turn onto Mounds Park Road...your legs will start screaming “uncle” as you continue your ascent to The Top of The Mound in Blue Mound State Park.

  Pre-registration is super strongly encouraged! Start times will be assigned sequentially on a first-come, first-serve basis with the first racer being released at 10:00 am. Racers will be released onto the course on 30-second intervals and must report to the starting area with bib number and timing chip at least 5 minutes prior to assigned start time.
• Start times will be published on the website, www.alpeblhuez.com. Results will be tallied for M/F racers in each age category and awards will be presented. Event will be chip-timed.
